Song of the week- Little Reason by Paul Orwell

Hello Chums, Just before we begin our ramblings, we'd like to introduce you to a new section of our blog- 'Song Of The Week'- where we discuss (with our small but fabulous army of blog readers) the song that we have chosen as our favourite this week. Were hoping to keep this pretty regular but our lives are extremely busy with GCSE's and such at present so please don't loose faith, we'll be organised one day! Anyway, lets begin!

~PAUL ORWELL- LITTLE REASON~

We have little reason to believe that Paul Orwell's 'Little Reason' isn't worthy of the first 'Song Of The Week' slot on our blog! The song takes us back some 50 years ago, It captures the original but fresh 60's vibe that we've been missing for so long and It smothers your eardrums with psychedelic beats, riffs, baselines and vocals, worthy of nothing less that platinum disc praise. And how did we discover it you may ask. Twitter- The Font Of All Knowledge, The Land Of The Free, whatever you'd like to call it! You could say it was fate, coincidence, but either way, we discovered Paul Orwell and (sparing the cliche) we instantly became entranced in the melodic atmosphere which his music creates. Its not so often that you stumble across such an exciting and one of a kind artist, so finding Paul Orwell came as such a treat, not only to us, but to many other music lovers out there!

The music takes a classic 60's vibes but manages to add a twist of its own. Maybe its the lyrics, the vocals, the twang of the guitar, theres something about this song which makes it completely individual, completely identifiable, completely Paul Orwell! It might just be that most chart music now sounds the same, this song just stands out from the crowd! Its vibrant, its exciting and its definitely worth a listen (or 10)! Paul Orwell has certainly grasped our attention and I'm sure he'll grasp yours too!

Here's the song you've all been waiting for...

You can find him in many different places-

We hope you enjoyed our further ramblings of our fascination with good true music, thank you for popping bye and we hope to hear of you all in the near future, Sophie and Ruby!
